This study aims to analyze the influence of gamified Islamic content production within the Muslim Pro application on the construction of Generation Z’s religiosity, while examining the extent to which these digital worship features yield meaningful benefits (maslahah). Utilizing a qualitative approach with an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) design, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with ten active users aged 15–26, feature observations, and digital documentation. The findings indicate that gamification elements such as streak tracking, notifications, and recitation targets do not deterministically alter religious behavior. Instead, they serve as dynamic support structures that help users maintain consistency amidst highly mobile modern lifestyles. This digital practice represents a form of religious adaptation (everyday religion) and ritual reorganization rather than a sign of secularization. From a maqāṣid al-syarī’ah perspective, the application contributes significantly to the preservation of religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn) by sustaining systematic worship, and the preservation of intellect (ḥifẓ al-‘aql) by broadening access to Islamic knowledge. However, this utility remains highly contextual and triggers an ambivalence, as digital reward systems risk shifting intrinsic motivation from spiritual sincerity (ikhlas) to purely performative achievements. This research offers a fresh perspective on the ongoing negotiation between technology and lived religious experiences.
